ASCLD-LAB

 

ASCLD-LAB is the premier crime lab accrediting body. ASCLD-LAB accredits nearly all criminal forensic testing disciplines. To become accredited by ASCLD-LAB, a laboratory must be able to demonstrate to outside auditors;

            Quality assurance and control
            Qualified and competent scientists
            Qualified scientific testing procedures
            Outside proficiency testing

Achieving ASCLD-LAB accreditation in any discipline demonstrates a laboratories’ commitment to quality. IFL is accredited in seven disciplines.

• Serology/Biology
• Drug Chemistry
• Trace Analysis/Arson
• Impression Evidence
• Serial Number Restoration
• Latent Fingerprint Processing

No other private lab in the United States has demonstrated this level of criminal forensic testing services and accreditation.

ABC

 

The American Board of Criminalistics is the nation’s premier analyst certification body. To become certified by ABC, an analyst must be able to demonstrate:

AFTE

 

The Association of Firearm and Toolmark Examiners (AFTE) certifies firearm and toolmark examiners. This is the highest level of certification in the field of forensic firearms examination.
